[351] Paul Weber:
The name Weber is German for weaver, which no doubt was the occupation of some of the forefathers.

[352] Ship "SOUTHAMPTON" from London arrived in New York on July 2, 1856. Unless the fact was known that Paul with an uncle, one might assume this was parents. Paul Weber age 51 - Farmer - Germany to U.S.; Mariana - age 50; Paul Weber - age 1.

[353] Also on board, but not listed next to Paul Weber: John Weber age 35; Mary Weber age 39; Anton Weber - age 10; Catherine Weber - age 8; Mathias Weber - age 6; Hubert Weber - age 4; Gertrude Weber - age 2; and Mathias Weber - age 2 months.

[354] Paul Weber was born in Adenau, Prussia and after coming to Wisconsin with an uncle, he farmed near Marytown. His farm was located approximately one-half mile east of the Marytown bank on highway 149 on the left hand side of the road. August Sippel is
the present owner. the barn burned down a few years ago and has not been rebuilt.

[355] The Obit: [THE CHILTON TIMES, October 26, 1912]:
PAUL WEBER DIES: The Times learns that Paul Weber, one of the progressive and well-to-do farmers of Marytown, died at his home on Monday and will be buried on Friday. The deceased was about 68 years old and was well and favorably known by many
residents of this county. He was a hard working man and thrifty but always had tome to entertain his friends or assist a neighbor who needed help. For over a years past Mr. Weber had been in failing health and while his death was not unexpected it was
a shock not only to his family but to his numerous friends. Adam Miller of this city was a brother-in-law of the deceased.

[356] Weber ist ein Deutscher Name, welcher kein Zweifel über den Beruf einer der Vorfahren läßt.

[357] Das Schiff "SOUTHAMPTON" von London erreichte am 2. Juli 1856 New York. Sofern die Tatsache bekannt war, kam Paul mit einem Onkel, jemand der möglicherweise die Verantwortung für seine Eltern angenommen hatte. Paul Weber Alter 51 - Landwirt -

[359] Nachruf: [THE CHILTON TIMES, October 26, 1912]:
PAUL WEBER STARB: "The Times" erfuhr, daß Paul Weber, einer der fortschritlichen und reichen aus Marytown, am Montag in seinem zu Hause starb und am Freitag begraben wird. Der Verstorbene war 68 Jahre alt und war bei vielen Einwohnern des Landes gut
und positiv bekannt. Er war ein hart arbeitender und sparsamer Mann aber hatte immer einen humor. Wälzer um seine Freunde zu unterhalten oder einen Nachbar zu unterstützen, der Hilfe bedurfte. Seit mehr als einem Jahr schwand die Gesundheit von Mr.
Weber und während sein Tod nicht unerwartet kam, war es ein Schock, nicht nur für seine Familie sondern für seine zahlreichen Freunde. Adam Miller aus dieser Stadt, war ein Schwiegerbruder von dem Verschiedenen.
