[1852] STACYVILLE - Hilda Durben Adams, 94, of Stacyville, died Tuesday (Aug. 17, 1999) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
[1853] Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the Visitation Cemetery.
[1854] Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the church hall with a rosary at 3 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
[1855] Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.
[1856] Hilda Durben Adams was born on July 13, 1905, to Joseph and Agnes (Ostendorf) Puettmann, in Roseville. She married Joe Durben in 1927. He died in July of 1957. She married Carl Adams on Dec. 1, 1962. He died on Aug. 27, 1976.

Hilda is survived by four daughters, Phyllis Buckingham of Stacyville, Doris Durben of Spokane, Wash., Shirley Lang of Lincoln, Neb., and Mary Alice Vail of Olympia, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joie Lady of
Rochester, Minn., Clara King of Austin, Minn., and Loretta Krebsbach of Stacyville.
[1858] She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; five sisters, Kate Kuechenberg, Mary Gerber, Veronica Puettmann, Frances Kramer and Emma Durben; and one brother, Hubert Puettmann.
